Als gebürtiger Berchtesgadener habe ich quasi das Wintersport-Gen von Geburt an in mir. Ich liebe meine Heimat und die Berge des Berchtesgadener Landes. Bereits als kleines Kind stand ich mit großer Begeisterung auf Skiern. Mit 12 Jahren entschied ich mich dann für den Skeletonsport. 2015/16 folgte der Eintritt in die Nationalmannschaft mit Starts im Europacup (3. im Gesamtklassement). Ab der Saison 2016/17 startete ich erfolgreich im Intercontinentalcup, u.a. Gesamtsieger 2017/18. In der Saison 2018/19 kam dann mein erster Weltcupeinsatz mit Platz 5 in Sigulda, in der darauffolgenden Saison erreichte ich mit zwei 3. und einem 2. Platz die ersten Podiumsplatzierungen im Weltcup.

Privat genieße ich gerne die Zeit mit meiner Familie und meinen Freunden. Neben meiner Karriere als Profisportler bin ich Sportsoldat und studiere parallel Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen.
Die Saison 2025/26 mit dem Highlight Olympische Spiele in Mailand / Cortina steht bevor. Nachdem ich mich in der starken deutschen Mannschaft zunächst für den Weltcup Kader qualifizieren konnte, habe ich während der Saison auch die Olmpiaqualifikation geschafft. YES!

As a native of Berchtesgaden, I’ve practically had the winter sports gene from birth. I love my home and the mountains of the Berchtesgaden region. Even as a small child, I stood on skis with great enthusiasm. At the age of 12, I decided to take up skeleton racing. In the 2015/16 season, I joined the national team and competed in the European Cup (3rd overall). From the 2016/17 season onwards, I successfully competed in the Intercontinental Cup, including winning the overall title in 2017/18. In the 2018/19 season, I made my first World Cup appearance, finishing 5th in Sigulda, and in the following season, I achieved my first World Cup podium finishes with two 3rd places and one 2nd place.

Privately, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. Alongside my career as a professional athlete, I serve as a sports soldier and study industrial engineering in parallel.
The 2025/26 season, with the highlight being the Olympic Games in Milan/Cortina, is just ahead. After managing to qualify for the World Cup squad within the strong German team, I also achieved the Olympic qualification during the season. YES!
